New York State Senator Shelley Mayer, White Plains City Council President Victoria Presser, and Judith Aucar, Director of El Centro Hispano, led an inspiring International Women’s Day panel at The Bristal Assisted Living at White Plains. The panelists shared their insights, experiences, and lessons learned throughout their journeys to success.

International Women’s Day is a global celebration of women’s social, economic, cultural, and political achievements, as well as a powerful reminder of the ongoing need to advance gender equality. The day serves as a call to action for accelerating gender equity. It provides a vital platform to engage communities, reflect on progress, and commit to meaningful change.

Residents of The Bristal were also able to speak with the panelist about their experiences, fostering an intergenerational dialogue on the progress and challenges faced by women.
