Senator Johnson Works To Improve Nursing Home Care

State Senator Owen H. Johnson (4th Senate District, Babylon), Chairman of the Finance Committee recently met with a representatives of the Nursing Home Ombudservice of the Family Service League and staff and residents of Our Lady of Consolation Nursing Home in West Islip to discuss nursing home funding. The representatives stressed to the Senator the need to increase state funding for nursing home so that residents could be better served.
