Senator Golden to Host Town Hall Meeting WITH Officials From New York City Agencies

Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden is announcing that he will be hosting a Bay Ridge/Dyker Heights town hall meeting on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. in the Old School Hall at St. Ephrem’s, located at 7415 Fort Hamilton Parkway in Brooklyn. 

Senator Golden has invited the participation of the following agencies: the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, the New York City Police Department, 68th Precinct, the NYC Department of Transportation, the New York City Department of Sanitation, the New York City Department of Environmental Protection, the New York City Transit Authority (M.T.A.), the New York City Department of Buildings, and the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation.

Senator Golden will be updating the community on his recent legislative efforts as well as ongoing projects in the community. Senator Golden and his staff will be providing important community information for those in attendance as well.

Senator Golden stated, “I welcome the participation of the residents of both Bay Ridge and Dyker Heights at my upcoming town hall to address the issues that matter the most as we try to keep our communities strong. Let’s work together to keep our neighborhood strong. And at the same time, let’s seek to address the concerns of residents related to health, public safety, transportation, sanitation, parks and trees, and others.”
