In an effort to ensure the Hudson Valley is fairly represented in all legislative matters, local Senators have formed a bipartisan delegation to make sure the needs and concerns of residents are heard in Albany.
This new delegation, which will be co-chaired by Senators Thomas Morahan and Jeffrey Klein, will ensure that legislative leaders have a firm understanding of what is important to the Hudson Valley when addressing legislative and budget issues.
"I am very pleased that my colleagues have all pledged to make this delegation a priority," said Senator Bill Larkin (R-C, Cornwall-on-Hudson). "By working together we can ensure the voice of the Hudson Valley is heard and accurately represented in Albany," said Larkin. "I look forward to working with Senators from both sides of the aisle to make sure the needs of the Hudson Valley are brought to the forefront."
