Senator Golden Announces Marine Park Mid-Summer Festival

State Senator Marty Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) will host the 2nd Annual Mid-Summer Festival in Marine Park at Avenue U. The festival will take place on Saturday, August 7th from 11:00 a.m-8:00 p.m. and Sunday, August 8th from 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

“There is no better place for this event to take place than in the centerpiece of this community in Marine Park. I believe that this is the perfect way for families to fully enjoy the leisure of the summer months, while also taking part in an event that celebrates the Marine Park community,” Senator Golden noted.

“The Mid-Summer Festival is on its way to becoming a great tradition in Marine Park. I hope that we continue to gather for this event for many years to come,” Sen. Golden continued, looking forward to launching a great kick-off to the end of summer.

The Mid-Summer Festival is a unique, two-day event that will feature live band, rides, games and more. Admission is free and food and other merchandise will also be for sale and proceeds will benefit the Marine Park Civic Association.
