Senator Owen H. Johnson presented over one hundred toys this Christmas for the children of members of the Fighting 69th Infantry Regiment. Senator Johnson presented the gifts to Sergeant Colin Stewart, a member of the 69th Regiment and Beth DelliPizzi, wife of Lieutenant Louis DelliPizzi, who has donated her time to circulate the gifts to families in need this holiday season.
“I’d like to thank all of those who so generously donated toys for the boys and girls of the soldiers assigned to the Fighting 69th,” Senator Johnson said. “The wonderful response has been a reminder that the spirit of Christmas is alive and well in my Senate District.”
