 Senator Malcolm A. Smith was joined by Assemblywoman Audrey Pheffer and representatives from the Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) to announce a new energy efficiency program that saved Yeshiva Darchei Torah over $200,000 in rebates as a part of their Commercial Efficiency Program.
 
 "Yeshiva Darchei Torah, complete with the latest efficiency measures, has raised the bar for other educational institutions by using energy efficiency measures and 21st Century technology to conserve energy. It is important that we all work together to preserve our environment." said Senator Smith. "The partnership is an exemplary model as we move toward redefining more collaborative efforts utilizing energy efficiency and management."
