Senator Golden Invites Children and Families to Hunt for Easter Eggs in Our Parks

Brooklyn- State Senator Marty Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn), along with the Southwest Brooklyn Parks Task Force and the Community Emergency Response Team, today are announcing plans to host two Easter Egg Hunts, for the children and families of the community, in both Marine Park and McKinley Park.
The Easter Egg Hunts are scheduled for:
Saturday, April 16, 2011, 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
Marine Park, Fillmore Avenue at Marine Parkway
Saturday, April 23, 2011, 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
McKinley Park, 75th Street and Fort Hamilton Parkway
Senator Golden invites all community children to participate in what plans to be very special events. The Easter Egg hunt events include music and prizes for the children. Over one thousand candy filled easter eggs will be hidden throughout the boundaries of the respective parks.
Senator Golden stated, “I encourage all children and families to come out to our parks and share in the fun of my annual Easter Egg Hunt and compete for prizes, enjoy the music, and have a great time.”
