Thousands March to Defend Traditional Marriage

Thousands of people will take to the streets as a sign of protest to New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo’s intentions of instituting same-sex marriage this Sunday, May 15th in the Bronx.

This demonstration called The March for Dignity, coordinated by Senator Rev. Rubén Díaz, Dr. Hector A. Chiesa, President of Radio Visión Cristiana Intl. (1330 AM) and Rev. Eric Salgado, President of Radio Cantico Nuevo (740 AM), will begin at 12:00 pm between 149th Street and 3rd Avenue where thousands will march to the steps of the Bronx Supreme Court located on the Grand Concourse and 161st Street in the Bronx.

The coordinators of this massive demonstration are calling all pastors and leaders of religious, civic, political, communal and cultural organizations to join together as a sign of repudiation to Governor Cuomo’s intentions.

“It is time that our community stands up and fights for those moral, social, civic and cultural values that are found in the Bible and that our grandparents have instilled in us in our native Hispanic countries,” said Senator Rubén Díaz.
