Outreach program targeted to connect directly to constituents in their communities
BUFFALO, N.Y. – Senator Timothy M. Kennedy, D-58th District, announced his next “Senator on Your Street” events will be held in two different Buffalo neighborhoods April 14 and 15. The Old First Ward Community Center will be the site for the April 14 “Senator on Your Street” program, and on April 15, Senator Kennedy will take his office to Los Tainos Senior Citizens Center.
A representative from Senator Kennedy’s office will be available to meet with constituents and address any concerns. Senator Kennedy will also join residents to answer constituents’ questions, listen to community concerns and provide any help he can with state programs and agencies.
“We want to do everything we can to connect directly with hardworking Western New Yorkers. Our ‘Senator on Your Street’ program is an initiative we’ve launched to foster an open dialogue between the community and our office,” Senator Kennedy said. “We want to bring our office right to the people of our district and meet with them in their neighborhood, on their street and at their front doorstep.
“I hope you’ll bring your questions and concerns to our ‘Senator on Your Street’ program, when we visit your street,” he added.
