Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) recently held his annual Small Business Networking Expo, where entrepreneurs from across Long Island came to network and learn how to help their businesses grow.

Business owners who participated in Senator Fuschillo’s Small Business Networking Expo were able to learn about a variety of different business assistance programs designed to help businesses grow and develop. At the event, business owners were able to speak individually with representatives from government and non-profit agencies about these programs, as well as with representatives from local Chambers of Commerce about the services they provide.

Additionally, the event enabled small business owners to network with one another to promote their businesses and exchange information.

“Small businesses are the lifeblood of Long Island’s economy. Helping them grow and expand is critical to promoting economic development and creating jobs. This program was a convenient way for business owners to learn about the programs and services designed to help them succeed. I’m very happy that so many business owners were able to take advantage of this service,” said Senator Fuschillo.

Small business owners who were unable to attend Senator Fuschillo’s Small Business Networking Expo but would like more information about any of these services can call his office at 516-882-0630 or email him through his website, fuschillo.nysenate.gov.
