Senator Fuschillo Congratulates Freeport Business Owner Paul Conte on Earning National Recognition as “Dealer of the Year”

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R- Merrick) along with Senator Kemp Hannon (R- Garden City), recently congratulated long-time Freeport business owner Paul Conte of Paul Conte Cadillac on being named “Dealer of the Year” by General Motors. Senators Fuschillo and Hannon presented Mr. Conte with a legislative resolution they sponsored, which was passed by the State Senate, in honor of the achievement.
“Paul Conte is a dedicated, active, and highly respected member of the Freeport community. Whether it’s operating a successful business or giving back to the community, he strives to maintain excellence and goes above and beyond what is required. It’s wonderful that he has earned a national honor for his efforts, and I’m pleased to congratulate him,” said Senator Fuschillo.
Paul Conte earned “Dealer of the Year” by being a top performer in both sales and customer service, along with demonstrating a commitment to these areas on a long term basis by providing customers with exceptional service.
Paul Conte has long been an active member of the Freeport community. He is Past-President of the Freeport Exchange Club and has also served as Director of the Freeport Chamber of Commerce. He has been named “Man of the Year” by the Freeport Chamber of Commerce, the De La Salle School, the Freeport Salvation Army, the Freeport Boy Scouts, the South Shore Guidance Center, Molloy College, the Hempstead and Hofstra Association and the Nassau County Mental Health Association. Additionally, Mr. Conte is a member of the Long Island Business Development Council’s Hall of Fame and serves as a director of the Greater New York State Auto Dealers Association and the New York State Auto Dealers Association.
