Senator Fuschillo, Town Clerk Bonilla, & Supervisor Murray to Sponsor Senior ID Card & Passport Program in North Merrick

        Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) will be partnering with Town of Hempstead Town Clerk Mark Bonilla and Supervisor Kate Murray in sponsoring two community programs in North Merrick on Friday, April 27th.

        The Senior ID Card and Passport Programs will both be held at the North Merrick Library, located at 1691 Meadowbrook Road in North Merrick, from 1-4 pm.

        The free Senior ID Card Program is open to all Town of Hempstead residents ages 60 and over. The program allows seniors to obtain a wallet-sized senior ID card which includes a photo and the holder’s personal data, physician’s contact information, and emergency contact phone numbers which could be useful to paramedics in a medical emergency. Allergies and other vital information can also be printed on the cards. There is no fee to obtain a senior ID card.

        The Passport Program is open to all residents wishing to obtain or renew a U.S. Passport. Applicants must bring with them proof of United States citizenship (such as a previous passport or a certified birth certificate) and proof of identity (such as a previous passport, driver’s license/non-driver ID, or a recently issued state or federal employee ID card). Federal and Town passport fees are applicable and must be paid for through separate personal checks or money orders (credit cards will not be accepted).
