Wantagh Boy Scouts Discuss State Government WITH Senator Fuschillo

     Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) recently met with boy scouts from Troop 96 in Wantagh to help them earn their citizenship merit badge.

     Senator Fuschillo spoke with the scouts to help them earn their citizenship merit badge. Senator Fuschillo and the scouts discussed his job as a State Senator, the state budget, and how the legislative process works. The boys also shared their concerns about local community issues and offered their ideas for new laws.

     “The scouts were very knowledgeable and asked some great questions. It was nice to see how interested they were in learning about government and how to make their community a better place. I really enjoyed meeting with them,” said Senator Fuschillo.
