Mexico Public Library Hosts Ritchie “Women of Distinction” Display

Display Encourages People to Learn About Notable Female New Yorkers
State Senator Patty Ritchie has announced her “Women of Distinction” exhibit is on display at the Mexico Public Library, located at 3269 Main Street in Mexico. The display is available for viewing during regular business hours.
The traveling display, which will be featured at Oswego County libraries through October 8th, provides an opportunity for people to learn about New York’s female leaders, both past and present.
The moving display features this year’s Woman of Distinction, Jan Rebeor of Oswego County, as well as other famous New York women; such as Rhoda Fox Graves, Susan B. Anthony, Harriet Tubman, Lucille Ball and more.
The display will be featured at the following libraries:
Mexico Public Library, August 9th to August 17th
Sandy Creek’s Annie P. Ainsworth Memorial Library, August 20th to August 28th
Central Square Library, August 29th to September 6th
Pulaski Public Library, September 10th to September 18th
Phoenix Public Library, September 19th to September 27th
Oswego City Library, September 28th to October 8th
