Nearly 500 Job Seekers Attend Ritchie's St. Lawrence County Job and Career Fair

Event Featured Opportunities to Meet With 65 Area Employers

Nearly 500 St. Lawrence County job seekers attended State Senator Patty Ritchie’s second annual Job and Career Fair, held at the Odd Fellows Community Hall in Ogdensburg Wednesday.

“This Job and Career Fair was all about connecting hardworking people with jobs that are right for them,” said Senator Ritchie. 

“So many of the employers at the event are hiring right now.  Even if people didn’t find a match, they were able to get tips on everything from broadening their career choices to creating a resume that lands them their next job.”

Wednesday’s Job and Career Fair featured 65 local employers and organizations offering job opportunities and tips for people to improve their job searching skills. 

Senator Ritchie will be hosting another Job and Career Fair next Wednesday, September 26^th at the Fulton War Memorial, located at 609 West Broadway in Fulton.  The event will run from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
