Public Invited to Events in Sandy Creek, Volney and Fulton

In an effort to hear the concerns of her constituents, State Senator Patty Ritchie will host three Mobile District Events in Oswego County in the coming week.

“For many working people, it’s difficult to get to my office during regular hours,” said Senator Ritchie.

“That’s why I’m bringing my office directly to them.  Through these Mobile District Office events, I’ll be able to meet people in Oswego County who are dealing with state government issues, hear their concerns and help them find a solution to their problem.”

Senator Ritchie’s Oswego County Mobile District Office events will take place on the following dates:

·         Thursday, October 4th: Sandy Creek Town Hall, 1992 Harwood Drive, 4:30 to 6 p.m.

·         Friday, October 5th: Volney Town Hall, 1445 County Route 6, 4:30 to 6 p.m.

·         Tuesday, October 9th: Fulton City Hall Community Room, 141 S. First St., 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.

The Mobile District Office events are a continuation of the Senator’s efforts to make herself available to her constituents.  As part of her work to hear their concerns, Senator Ritchie opened the first full-time senate district satellite offices in Oswego and St. Lawrence Counties, while at the same time reducing office spending.  Senator Ritchie also hosted several Telephone Town Hall meetings and is accessible through email and social media.

If constituents aren’t able to make the Mobile District Office events, Senator Ritchie encourages people to visit her Oswego office, located at 46 East Bridge St., or call 342-2057.
