As we begin to work toward rebuilding our communities affected by Hurricane Sandy, I wanted to take a moment to provide you with some resources that may be of use to you or someone you know.
Today’s Dry Ice Distribution Centers will be located at:
Newburgh Home Depot (Orange County)
1220 Route 300
Newburgh NY 12550
12 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Fishkill Home Depot (Dutchess County)
Dutchess Mall
450 Route 9, Fishkill NY 12524
Noon - 6 p.m.
For Health and Human Services information and answers to storm-related questions please dial the Hudson Valley Helpline at 2-1-1 or visit their website.
For local information and regular updates please visit the Dutchess County Emergency Operation Center.
While officials are doing their best to try to restore services and to remove any storm related hazards, I urge you to continue to exercise caution at home and in your travels as fallen power lines and debris may still pose a danger.
Also, The American Red Cross and the New York Blood Center are counting on your donations during this time to help those affected by the storm. Please visit this link to find a comprehensive lists of blood drives in your area.
