Key Priorities as 2013 Session Gets Underway

Dear Friend,
Please accept my sincere best wishes to you and your family for a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year. I wanted to take this opportunity to highlight some of my key priorities as the new Legislative Session gets underway.
Top-Notch Constituent Service: Throughout the year, please remember that I am always here to serve you, your family and our community. If you have any problems, questions or concerns -- or if you'd simply like to share your views on an important state governmental issue -- please feel free to call, write, e-mail or visit my district office. My key contact information includes:
Address: 3845 Richmond Ave., Suite 2A, Staten Island, NY 10312
Phone: 718-984-4073

Keeping You Informed: To ensure that your government is serving you well, it's critically important to stay well-informed. Throughout the coming year, I encourage you to visit my web site and Facebook pages, where I will provide regular updates on key issues that may impact you and your family. I will also continue hosting a variety of public events designed to provide you with resources, information and ample opportunities to share your views.
Creating Jobs: As the Legislative Session gets underway, I will continue leading the fight to help revitalize our economy, strengthen small businesses and create thousands of good, new jobs for our local economy.
Providing Tax Relief: We all know that there are new federal tax increases in store for many hardworking taxpayers in 2013. With this in mind, I will be redoubling my efforts to fight for additional tax relief at the state and local levels.
Reducing Wasteful Spending: Over the past two years, New York State has made significant progress in controlling overall spending. But there is clearly more that can be done to ensure a smarter, more efficient and effective government. That's why I will be continuing my fight to reduce government fraud and waste, and to deliver additional mandate relief to help local governments and school districts hold down their costs.
As we embark on a New Year, there is no question that our nation, our state, and our local community are all facing a number of serious challenges. But if we work together, I have every confidence that we can overcome these challenges, and ensure a brighter, stronger future for many years to come.
Sincerely,
ANDREW J. LANZA
