Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) announced that he has secured state funding for the Seaford Library to improve its technology.
The state funding will help the Library upgrade its computer and related technology equipment, as well as purchase a public access scanner. The new equipment will help the Library enhance the services it offers to the Seaford community and better meet the needs of its patrons.
“The Seaford Library is an invaluable resource which provides a wide variety of services to the Seaford community. Utilizing this new technology will allow the Library to further improve these services for the residents it serves,” said Senator Fuschillo.
"We thank Senator Fuschillo for helping to secure funding in order to upgrade our public access computers and equipment including a public access scanner in order to better serve the patrons of the Seaford community and surrounding areas. We also have been redesigning our library’s website to make it more functional, informative and accessible. We are on schedule to roll out the new website to the public by New Year’s!” said Seaford Library Director Frank McKenna.
