Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) recently toured Long Island Cares’ South Shore Service Center in Lindenhurst. The center, which is located at 163-1 North Wellwood Avenue in Lindenhurst, provides food and other services to those in need, including victims of Superstorm Sandy.
Those who need to take advantage of the services offered by Long Island Cares’ South Shore Service Center can call the center at 631-991-8106. The center’s business hours are 8 am to 4 pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 8 am to 7 pm Thursdays, and 10 am to 2 pm on Saturdays.
