Senator George Maziarz (R-C, Newfane) is pleased to announce that he is once again encouraging students to participate in the New York State Senate Summer Reading Program.
“Every year I sponsor this program and every year I’m amazed to see how many young people are passionate about reading,” Senator Maziarz said. “It’s not only fun, but it’s a great way to hone reading skills between the school years.”
Through the program, interested students can use an on-line journal to keep track of their reading progress throughout the summer. Children who read at least three books and submit a completed journal will receive a Summer Reading Certificate.
Participants must register here.
