SENATOR TERRY GIPSON ANNOUNCES LOCAL GOVERNMENT TOUR
POUGHKEEPSIE, NY -- Senator Terry Gipson (D-Dutchess, Putnam) has announced this month's visits in his ongoing local government outreach tour to assist local municipalities. Senator Gipson has been attending village, town and city board meetings throughout the 41st Senate District to receive feedback and answer questions directly from municipal representatives.
"As a ranking member on the New York Senate’s Local Government Committee and a former village trustee, I understand the challenges our municipalities face,” said Senator Gipson. “I am committed to working with local officials to find creative ways to address local issues, reduce the cost of living and spur our regional economy.”
Senator Gipson is scheduled to attend the following local government board meetings in the month of August:
8/8 – Town of North East
8/12 – Town of Rhinebeck
8/13 – Village of Millbrook
8/15 – Town of Pine Plains
A monthly schedule of meetings the Senator will attend will be announced at the start of each month.
