On Tuesday, October 7th, Senator David Carlucci met with Ossining Library Acting Director Molly W. Robbins and Library Board President Alice Joselow to discuss the $50,000 grant that the Senator has secured for the library. Ossining Library Board President Alice Joselow stated that the library intends to use the money for a new HVAC system, specifically a supplemental heating system.
Senator Carlucci said, “I am happy to be able to help the library and its patrons acquire a new heating system. The system will ensure this important facet of the community stays open and warm throughout the upcoming winter season.”
Assistant and Current Acting Library Director Molly W. Robbins stated “I am very grateful for Senator Carlucci’s commitment to the Ossining Library. The funds will go towards a new heating system, so we can provide our patrons with a safe and warm place to read and learn all year long."
Library Board President Alice Joselow said, “On behalf of everyone here at the Ossining Library we would like Senator Carlucci for this grant, without which, we might not have been able to keep the library open through what is likely to be another harsh New York winter.”
