Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) recently visited Weber Middle School in Port Washington to thank students for collecting over 500 toys for his annual holiday toy drive.
Senator Martins' toy drive is an annual event which brings extra holiday cheer to children in need. All the toys collected by the Port Washington students were donated to children in Winthrop-University Hospital.
“What Weber Middle School’s students did was absolutely amazing. It’s wonderful to see how hard they worked to help other kids who are going through tough times. Their efforts will really make a difference for so many families. They should be very proud of themselves,” said Senator Martins.
