Senator Martins Honors Floral Park Boy Scouts for Earning Scouting’s Highest Award

     Senator Jack M. Martins (R-Mineola) announced that the New York State Senate has passed legislative resolutions he sponsored honoring four members of Boy Scout Troop 678 in Floral Park for attaining the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout. 

     The legislative resolutions honored Christopher Bonomo, Matthew Dooley, Daniel May, and Benjamin Rispoli on earning Scouting’s highest honor. With passage of the resolutions, Christopher, Matthew, Daniel, and Benjamin’s achievements will forever be part of the official record of the New York State Senate.

     Senator Martins attended the Court of Honor held for the four scouts to personally congratulate them.

     “After many years of hard work and performing over 800 hours of community service, Matthew, Christopher, Benjamin, and Daniel attained something that very few ever achieve; the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout. I’m certain that this is just the first of many great things these four young men will achieve. I congratulate them on earning this honor and wish them the very best for continued success,” said Senator Martins.
