Senator Martins thanks members of St. Aidan School’s National Junior Honor Society and Student Council for helping collect toys for his annual holiday toy drive. They are joined by teachers Jamie Michel and Elizabeth Hauser.
Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) recently visited St. Aidan School in Williston Park to thank students for participating in his annual holiday toy drive.
Senator Martins' toy drive is an annual event which brings extra holiday cheer to children in need. All the toys collected by the St. Aidan students were donated to children in Winthrop University Hospital.
“It’s wonderful to see children embrace the spirit of the holiday season and lend a helping hand to those in need. St. Aidan’s students did a great job collecting toys that will really help brighten the spirits of other kids who are in need of some extra cheer. They should be very proud of themselves,” said Senator Martins.
