Golden: Brooklyn Senior Idol Finalists Announced Bobby Valli to Be Celebrity Judge and Perform at Show

Brooklyn – State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) today is announcing that the finalists have been selected to compete in Brooklyn’s 8th Annual Senior Idol contest set for Saturday, October 25th, starting at 7pm, at Xaverian High School located at 7100 Shore Road.

 

Senator Golden is also excited to announce that Bobby Valli, brother of legend Frankie Valli, will serve as the celebrity judge for this year’s show, and will perform some of the “Four Seasons” greatest hits during intermission.

 

The finalists, who will be performing a wide variety of songs including Italian Opera and some of the greatest hits of all time, are:

 

Julia Diorio, Rafael Calderon, Jr., Victoria Keller, Andy Gandolfo, Donald Coy, Stephanie Spatajakis, Daarley Brown, Gianvito Bottalico, Vincenzo Valerio, Mario D’Amico, Anthony Neve, Gagz Danzo, Lee Spinosa and Ernest Carrai.

 

Senator Marty Golden stated, “Brooklyn’s 8th Annual Senior Idol promises to be our best show yet. There is no doubt that the stage will showcase Brooklyn talent, and Bobby Valli will surely make the show a night to remember. So mark your calendars for October 25th and I hope you will join me at the show.”

 

Tickets for the show, which can only be purchased at the door, are $10 per person. All proceeds benefit Xaverian High School’s Music Department. All who purchase a show ticket will be entered in a raffle for a chance to win two (2) tickets to the Broadway hit “Jersey Boys”. The winner of Brooklyn’s 8th Annual Senior Idol will win a $500 cash prize awarded by Investor’s Bank.
