Brooklyn – State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn), who was on the ground in the communities of Gerritsen Beach, Manhattan Beach and Sheepshead Bay during and since Superstorm Sandy, has scheduled another event, in his continued series of outreach, dedicated to the families of his district in need of rebuilding assistance.
Senator Golden today has announced that he will welcome the NYC Recovery Build It Back Program and the Department of Financial Services, to provide personal assistance for those still experiencing issues with Build It Back, mortgages, insurance and more, on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at the Ancient Order of Hibernians at 2750 Gerritsen Avenue from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Senator Marty Golden stated, “It has been a very long twenty months since Superstorm Sandy ravaged many Brooklyn homes and communities, and my staff and I continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with those who need help. We invite those who need one on one attention, from either Build It Back or the Department of Financial Services, to make plans to bring their paperwork with them in an effort to resolve some of the outstanding matters. It is time that these folks have their lives returned to normal.”
