Ritchie Pays Tribute to Troops at Mountain Remembrance Ceremony

State Senator Patty Ritchie paid tribute to fallen troops recently at Fort Drum’s annual Mountain Remembrance ceremony. 

The event was held to honor 10th Mountain Division soldiers and one civilian killed in Afghanistan during 2013.  Among those recognized was LTC Todd Clark formerly of Evans Mills, who participated in Senator Ritchie’s very first Fort Drum and 10^th Mountain Division Day in 2012; a special event held at the Capitol to recognize the contributions of Fort Drum and its troops. 

Also joining in the ceremony was  10th Mountain Division Commander Maj. Gen. Stephen Townsend (pictured above), who returned briefly from Afghanistan.
