Senator Phil Boyle Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month By Honoring Citizens
The Senator’s 3rd Annual event honored twelve constituents for their work serving the community
September 17, 2015 - Bay Shore, NY: New York State Senator Phil Boyle takes great pride in the cultural diversity of the 4th Senatorial District. In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Senator Boyle hosted a special awards ceremony and celebration on Thursday, September 24th. The Senator acknowledged twelve (12) well-deserved Hispanic citizens from the Towns of Babylon and Islip with special awards for their service to the community.

This year Senator Boyle’s event featured dynamic Hispanic cultural entertainment including: Teatro Experimental Yerbabruja, a performing and visual arts organization that uses the arts for social change and, The Traveling Hispanic Theater, a mobile dance and performing arts company. Traditional Hispanic refreshments were also served to heighten the experience.
