Senator George Amedore Announces Committee Assignments

Senator George Amedore today announced he has been selected to serve as the Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse.

"It's an honor to be selected to serve as Chairman of the Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Committee," said Senator Amedore. "I have always believed that one of the primary responsibilities of elected officials is to provide assistance to the most vulnerable members of our community, including those battling substance abuse and addiction."

Senator Amedore will also serve on the Senate Committees on Veterans, Homeland Security and Military Affairs, Banks, Consumer Protection, and Elections.
