Senator Martins Honors Hicksville Firefighter for 50 Years of Service

     Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) recently honored Joseph Giardina for his 50 years of service as a volunteer firefighter in the Hicksville Fire Department.

     Since joining the Department in 1965, Mr. Giardina has been a devoted member who held leadership positions as a Captain, Commissioner, and Company Treasurer. Senator Martins attended the Department’s celebration in honor of Mr. Giardina to congratulate him and thank him for his five decades of community service.
