Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) recently honored Hicksville residents Christopher Scully and Thomas Miller for attaining the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout. Senator Martins, along with Nassau County Legislators Rose Walker and Laura Schaefer, attended the Court of Honor to personally congratulate Christopher and Thomas, members of Boy Scout Troop 291, on earning scouting’s highest honor.
“Achieving scouting’s highest honor takes years of dedication, commitment, and service, which is why only a select few ever attain it. Christopher and Thomas spent countless hours serving the community, working hard, and developing their skills, and they have now earned a place among the truly elite; the Eagle Scouts. Christopher and Thomas’ achievement is something of which the entire Hicksville community is proud, and we all congratulate them on a job well done,” said Senator Martins.
