Senator Golden Announces Plans for Annual Easter Egg Hunts

Brooklyn – State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn), today is announcing plans to host two Easter Egg Hunts in neighborhood parks that will feature games, music, activities, and prizes on Saturday, March 28th in Marine Park (Fillmore Avenue and Madison Place), and on Saturday, April 4th at Shore Road Park (Shore Road and 79th Street).
Senator Marty Golden stated, “I am sure that our children, much like our parents and grandparents, are very much looking forward to the warmer weather and getting out and enjoying our beautiful parks. The Easter Egg Hunts are shaping up to be a great afternoon full of fun activities, and prizes for all, and I know the Easter Bunny is planning to be there as well.
The Easter Egg Hunt events are both scheduled from 2 PM–4PM, and will showcase an Easter bonnet contest for children under the age of 12. The Brooklyn Public Library will be offering Library services and free books, and special baskets courtesy of the Brooklyn Nets are among the large prizes. Additionally, there will also be an opportunity to take a picture with the Easter Bunny.
