Additional $17,500 for Monroe County Libraries

During a ceremonial check presentation, Senator Rob Ortt (R,C,I – North Tonawanda) today delivered a total of $17,500 in state funding to support educational programs and services in Monroe County. The funds were secured by Senator Ortt in the 2016-17 State Budget in addition to money secured last year.
Seymour Library in the Village of Brockport received $10,000 in funding. Senator Ortt also handed out an oversized check to Ogden Farmers’ Library in the Town of Ogden in the amount of $7,500. Funds can be used to assist with educational services and programming, purchasing materials, renovations, operations, or events that serve the community.
