Senator Martins & Alzheimer’s Foundation of America Bringing Free Memory Screening Program to Great Neck

     Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) and the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA) are partnering to bring a free memory screening program to Great Neck.  The program will take place on Thursday, April 21st from 10 am to 12 pm at the Great Neck Social Center (80 Grace Avenue, Great Neck).

     Screenings consist of a series of questions to gauge memory, language and thinking skills.  The memory screening takes approximately 10 minutes and is confidential.  Participants will be provided with the results on-site.  Results are not a diagnosis, but a memory screening can suggest if someone should see a physician for a full evaluation.

     The program is free of charge and open to everyone, however appointments are required and will be scheduled on a first come, first served basis.
