January 20, 2016
(Middletown, NY)-State Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) announced today that he has secured an additional $50,000 grant for the Town of Rosendale to use towards construction and improvements of its Town Pool. Senator Bonacic was able to provide the funding to the Town through the State Municipal Grant Program. In 2014, Senator Bonacic was able to secure $250,000 grant for the Rosendale Town Pool.
“The Rosendale Pool has served the Town in so many important ways throughout the years,” said Senator Bonacic. “Whether it be swim lessons, day camps, local events, and providing summer employment, the Rosendale Pool has always been a fixture in the community. I commend Supervisor Walsh for continuing to move this project forward, while saving taxpayers money.”
“I want to thank Senator Bonacic for always being there to help our Community when we have a need. The Town of Rosendale is very lucky to have him as our representative, and we are very grateful to Senator Bonacic for his continued support for the rebuilding of the Rosendale Pool. The Rosendale Pool is an important asset of the Town of Rosendale and we would not be able to complete this project without his help,” said Rosendale Supervisor Jeanne Walsh.
