Senator Nozzolio Meets with Members of the Waterloo Reality Check Group at the State Capitol

New York State Senator Mike Nozzolio recently met with members of the Waterloo Reality Check group.  Reality Check is a youth organization that works with the Tobacco Action Coalition in the movement against tobacco use and the tobacco industry. The students discussed tobacco control and prevention efforts in the Finger Lakes Region.

“New York has one of the lowest smoking rates in the Nation and that is largely due to the success of organizations like the Tobacco Action Coalition and Reality Check,” said Senator Nozzolio. “It was a pleasure to meet with these exceptional students and to speak with them about the importance of teaching young people about the dangers of tobacco use.”
