REMINDER: RITCHIE TO HOST ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY JOB FAIR THURSDAY

State Senator Patty Ritchie is reminding job-seekers she will host her annual St. Lawrence County Job Fair on Thursday, May 26th at the Richard G. Lockwood Civic Center, located at 141 W. River Street in Ogdensburg from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The free event is slated to feature more than 50 employers, as well as on-site resume assistance from local career professionals. 

“So many of the businesses featured at this year’s job fair are looking to hire local people immediately for exciting opportunities,” said Senator Ritchie.

“And, this event isn’t just a way to network with potential employers, it’s a one-stop shop that for the first time will feature on-site assistance for anyone looking for help with their resume.  I’m hopeful that North Country residents looking for work or for a career change will take time to stop at Thursday’s St. Lawrence County Job Fair.”

To date, more than 2,200 individuals have visited Senator Ritchie’s Job Fairs, which she has held in St. Lawrence and Oswego Counties annually since 2012.
