Senator Elaine Phillips Visits Gateway Youth Outreach Summer Program

Senator Elaine Phillips recently visited the Gateway Youth Outreach (GYO) Summer Program in Elmont.  The summer program runs for five weeks and provides kids with educational and recreational programs including sports, arts and crafts, and variety of activities promoting physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.

“For almost 30 years, GYO has provided the Elmont community with quality programming for youth and families,” said Senator Elaine Phillips.  “The wonderful programs provided foster creativity, critical thinking, and positive growth among our youth.  Thank you to Pat Boyle, Executive Director and all of GYO’s administration and staff.”
