The services and programs offered by YWCA NENY provide that assistance and support, and I am so happy to provide this funding to help them continue and expand their mission to empower women and support families who have been victimized by domestic violence,” said Senator Amedore.

YWCA NENY’s domestic violence services have been in operation for more than 40 years and include a 24-hour hotline and shelter, advocacy and counseling services, case management, children’s services, and financial literacy programs. Their housing program provides single room and apartment setting living for more than 75 women.
