Senator Persaud Honors Local Veterans for Veterans Day

(Brooklyn, New York) Senator Roxanne J. Persaud celebrated and personally thanked the senior veterans of the Millennium Development — which encompasses the Vandalia Neighborhood Center, Philip Howard NORC, Penn Wortman Neighborhood Center, Mill Basin Neighborhood Center, Midwood Neighborhood Center, Independence Neighborhood Center, Bergen Beach Senior Program, Marine Park Active Adults and Abe Stark Neighborhood Center — and honored them with certificates of recognition at an event at the Abe Stark Neighborhood Center in Canarsie, Brooklyn on Monday, Nov. 12 for Veterans Day.

"To all the men and women here who served in our nation's Army, Marine Corps, Navy, and Air Force, thank you. Without your sacrifices, we would not be able to enjoy the freedoms we enjoy today," Senator Persaud said.
