Senator Roxanne J. Persaud Welcomes Top State Official to the 19th Senatorial District

(Brooklyn, NY) Senator Roxanne J. Persaud had the honor and privilege to welcome Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul to the district on February 15, 2017. The purpose of the visit was to experience first-hand how the district functions and to discuss common interests.

 First, the Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul met with Senator Persaud, staff members and key leaders in the district including Assembly Member Jamie Williams, District Leader Melba Brown, Maria Garrett & Paul Curiale. Then, Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul joined Senator Persaud on a site visit to hear from seniors on what is going on in the neighborhood in Jewish Association for Services for the Aged (JASA) at The Hebrew Educational Society (HES).

“I would like to thank Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul for gracing the district with her presence. It is my hope that this visit will give impetus to focus on the unique needs in the district.” Senator Persaud said
