On Friday, January 11, State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. organized a sit-down meeting with members of the 112th Precinct and the Bukharian community after an incident in November between high school students from Forest Hills High School which left a Jewish teenager in the hospital. Captain Jonathan Cermeli of the 112th Precinct quelled fears of additional community crime, has devoted more officers to patrol the area around Forest Hills High School during dismissal time, and encouraged community participation in the precinct’s Community Council and Explorers program.
