Senate Deputy Leader Gianaris Participates in PS/IS 78Q Student Council Elections

LONG ISLAND CITY, N.Y. – Senate Deputy Leader Michael Gianaris was the featured guest at the PS/IS 78Q student council elections on Friday, November 15. Senator Gianaris spoke to the students about voting and careers in government.
“It was a pleasure helping these students learn the importance of voting and participating in our democracy,” said Senate Deputy Leader Michael Gianaris. “I hope the lessons learned through this process stay with these kids for years to come.”
