Social Distancing Measures in Place

Until further notice, all restaurants and bars statewide will be delivery and takeout only. The State Liquor Authority will develop guidelines to allow producers to allow off-premise sales. Gyms, casinos, and movie theaters will be closed until further notice. Gatherings of people have been prohibited. Effective social distancing requires a minimum distance of six feet between individuals. Essential services like pharmacies, grocery and beverage stores, medical facilities, convenience stores and gas stations will remain open.

Schools

Schools throughout New York have been instructed to remain closed until May 15, 2020. Some may opt to extend closure. Plans for student instruction and access to materials, as well as meals, are being developed locally by districts. Contact your local school district for details.

Businesses

By executive order, the governor has mandated 100% closure of all non-essential businesses statewide as of 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2020.
