On Wednesday, June 23, State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. and Assemblywoman Jenifer Rajkumar visited the Greater Ridgewood Youth Council where they presented the 104th Precinct Crossing Guards with citations of recognition from New York State for their work in keeping our schoolchildren and their families safe each and every day. The Senator also expressed his appreciation for the efforts of all the officers at the 104th Precinct. Addabbo recalled his crossing guard from when he was a child going to school in Ozone Park and told the guards that they do make an impact on the children they see, whether it is with a friendly smile or a helping hand.
