1027A Mandates that local boards of elections commence the reviewing of absentee, military or special ballots within four days of receipt if received before the election and within one day of receipt on and after election day. NAY (Unfunded mandate. Unrealistic expectations.)
1103A Establishes the bottle redemption fraud task force to provide the governor and the legislature with information on the fraud, enforcement, and reporting requirements related to the New York state returnable container act. AYE
1878B This bill requires that notices of procurement opportunities published in the procurement opportunities newsletter include the name of any individual or business enterprise that has been awarded an identical contract or substantially similar contract in the past five years. This new requirement would apply to all agency contracts except for contracts to be issued by office of general services or contracts of greater than $10,000 to be issued by SUNY or CUNY. AYE
2937 Prohibits fuel oil, grade number four in any building or facility in the state on and after July 1, 2027. NAY (Does not apply to NYC. Excessive cost of conversion.)
3822 Authorizes the issuance of distinctive legion of valor license plates for individuals who have received the army medal of honor, navy medal of honor, air force medal of honor, army distinguished service cross, navy cross, coast guard cross, or air force cross. AYE
4704A Requires that minutes taken at a meeting of a public body be posted on the agency's website within two weeks from an open meeting and one week from an executive session. AYE
778A This bill prohibits contracts related to development of electronic cigarettes from suppressing research into the health consequences of their use. It also bars manufacturers, distributors and retailers of electronic cigarettes misrepresenting facts regarding health consequences. Additionally, prohibits the promotion of electronic cigarettes, bans gift offers with the purchase of electronic cigarettes, and bans electronic cigarette brands from sponsoring sports, arts or social events. AYE
4338B Amends section 1409 of the tax law to clarify that documents disclosing LLC ownership for tax returns on real estate transactions are not subject to tax secrecy laws nor are considered a return. NAY
473 Provides that where summary judgment is denied to a plaintiff, which denial is thereafter reversed on appeal and granted in favor of such plaintiff, any money judgment entered in favor of the plaintiff thereafter shall bear interest from the date of entry of the prior denial of such motion for summary judgment as if summary judgment had in fact been granted to such plaintiff in the first instance. NAY (High interest rate unfair.)
4097 Directs the commissioner of the department of environmental conservation to promulgate rules and regulations establishing targets for the sales of zero emissions medium and heavy duty vehicles in the state. NAY (Not necessary. Governor's orders already cover this.)
4562A This bill would amend Section 61 of the Volunteer Firefighters' Benefit Law ("VFBL") to create a presumption of coverage for vascular rupture where such rupture results in the death or disability of a volunteer firefighter and where such vascular rupture which resulted in death or disability resulted from the duties and activities of a volunteer firefighter. AYE
5877B Authorizes the village of Perry, county of Wyoming to hire a planning board member, zoning board of appeals member and zoning officer who are not residents of such village. AYE
4730 This bill amends section 189 of the State Finance Law by repealing subsection 4(a)(iii) to make individuals and corporations with a net income or sales of over $1 million liable under the False Claims Act for knowingly and illegally failing to file tax returns that cost the state or local government at least three hundred fifty thousand dollars in lost revenue. AYE
5560A This bill provides for funding of early intervention (EI) services. The bill would set up a statewide pool from which municipalities and the state would be allocated funds to pay EI costs. For the first year, an amount of $11.5 million would be paid into the pool. This amount is based on the approximate percentage commercial insurers pay of total EI program costs (utilizing data from the 2012-13 program year). NAY (New tax.)
4281A Prohibits the eviction of small commercial tenants in the city of New York without good cause. AYE
5062 Directs the commission to establish standards and safeguards for certain radio and phone providers to meet eligibility to provide lifeline services to be applicable to new applicants only. AYE
2628 Requires prior written notice upon hiring to all employees, informing them of the types of electronic monitoring which may occur; provides employers shall also post the notice of electronic monitoring. NAY (Does not apply to State and local governments.)
4817A Prohibits the disclosure of the names, addresses and telephone numbers of contributors and the amounts contributed that are reported on financial disclosure reports of certain not-for-profit organizations. AYE
2212 Precludes health insurers providing coverage under the child health plus (CHP) program from limiting or preventing health care services under CHP due to a health care provider’s lack of participation in said health insurers’ network. NAY (Inhibits choice.)
4078 Establishes a geoparks task force to survey and formulate a plan for identifying sites for a system of geoparks, and a management and development strategy for such parks. AYE
613A Provides that a person who has been designated for nomination for public office by any party or parties, and who thereafter does not receive one or more such nominations, may decline any nomination or nominations for such office, by filing a certificate of declination not later than the 10th day after the primary election. AYE
6257A Provides for leasing of cemetery lands upon notice to and approval of the cemetery board. AYE
6267A This bill would require that telephone providers block robocalls from phone numbers that aren't valid. AYE
1662B COSPONSOR Relates to the practice of Applied Behavior Analysis by expanding the treatments such professionals are allowed to conduct. AYE
282 Provides that an individual who was an eligible youth who was not determined to be a youthful offender by the sentencing court may apply to such court for a new determination after at least five years have passed since the imposition of the sentence, or at least five years after the individual's latest release from incarceration, if such individual was sentenced to a period of incarceration. AYE
5024B Provides for prevention and screening for elevated lead levels in children. AYE
6322A Establishes the East of Hudson watershed road salt reduction task force, pilot plan and test program to conduct a comprehensive review of road salt contamination and road management best practices within the East of Hudson watershed. AYE
6379 Allows for a voter to request an absentee ballot via email or through the electronic transmittal system or web portal established by the State Board of Elections or NYC BOE. This was already extended by EO 202.87 which extended the sunset provisions of Chapter 91 and 138 of 2020. NAY (Allowing individuals to apply for an absentee ballot via email without a signature would allow for any individual to request unlimited applications.)
6395A Requires the State Board of Elections to establish and maintain an electronic absentee ballot tracking system and each county BOE must integrate a tracking system into the State's system. NAY (Unfunded mandate. Privacy concerns.)
6429 Removes a provision that a voter who requested a ballot by letter must sign a valid application form and send the form with the ballot. This provision would be repealed December 31, 2021. NAY (Inconsistent deadlines.)
6482B This bill would establishes an electronic absentee ballot application transmittal system whereby a voter could apply for an absentee ballot online. The voter would be able to apply for an absentee ballot either directly through the county BOE website or the State Board of Elections website. NAY (Lack of an exemplar signature that is required in order to obtain an absentee ballot.)
3479 Requires telephone corporations to provide notice to customers in the event of a switch from copper to fiber optic-based telephone lines. NAY (Cost exceeds benefit.)
5160B Provides that any plan of districting or redistricting relating to the division of a county, except a county wholly contained within a city, into districts for the purpose of apportionment or reapportionment of members of its local legislative body shall be subject to federal and state constitutional requirements; provides for standards to be followed for such plan. NAY (Abolishes the rights of home rule and local self determination.)
1085 This bill establishes civil penalties for making false material statements to the public service commission in relation to a rate proceeding. AYE
4051A Raises the lower age of juvenile delinquency jurisdiction from seven to twelve years of age; establishes differential response programs for children under the age of twelve. NAY (Family court is most appropriate.)
7018A Authorizes the city of Schenectady, county of Schenectady, to alienate and discontinue the use of certain parklands for the purpose of relocating historic homes that are at a high risk of flooding. AYE
309A Requires local board of elections to purchase optical scan machines and establishes new requirements that voting machines must meet. NAY (Unfunded mandate.)
680 Increases age for use of ATVs by minors from age ten to fourteen. NAY (Parental decision. Negatively impacts rural areas.)
2521B This bill would prohibit hospitals and health care practices from charging facility fees to patients where they are not covered by the patient's insurance unless the patient is provided prior notice. The bill explicitly prohibits facility fees for preventive care services as defined by the United States Preventative Services Task Force (established under the ACA in 2010). NAY (To restrictive and costly.)
5144B This bill provides that certain personal liability provisions, for persons who are not tenants, in commercial leases shall be unenforceable where the default on the lease occurred between 3/7/20 and 08/31/21 and where the tenant was: 1) required to stop serving patrons food or beverages for on-premises consumption or cease operations under E/O 202.3; 2) a non-essential business subject to in-person limitations under guidance issued by the department of economic development pursuant to E/O 202.6; or 3) required to close to members of the public pursuant to E/O 202.7. NAY (Hurts small business.)
592 Provides for the sharing of revenue from gaming devices located within the county of Madison. NAY (Attempts to provide money above and beyond what was agreed upon within the Compact.)
5934 Authorizes Top Community Development Corporation to file an application for a real property tax exemption. AYE
6546A GALLIVAN Designates a portion of the state highway system in the town of Orangeville, Wyoming county as the "CPL Gerald B. Ramsey Memorial Highway". AYE
6694 This bill allows dental hygienists to use local infiltration and nitrous oxide anesthetic modalities to assist a dentist in performing any dental service. Dental hygienists are currently allowed to provide nitrous oxide analgesia and to administer and monitor local infiltration anesthesia for dental hygiene procedures only. AYE
7033 This legislation makes amendments to the Raise the Age legislation. Clarifies that an adolescent offender is criminally responsible for pleas to reduced charges unless the matter is removed to Family Court. AYE
7060 Allows for the issuance of a license to sell liquor at retail for consumption on certain premises within the City of Niagara Falls. AYE
7171 This bill provides that where an order of fact-finding has been issued that includes a violation committed by a juvenile sixteen or seventeen years of age, may not be placed out of their homes as a disposition; where an order of fact-finding includes solely a violation, there is a rebuttable presumption that the court shall adjourn the case in contemplation of dismissal, refer the case to the probation services for adjustment or dismiss the case; and provides that such records shall be sealed automatically at the expiration of such case. NAY (Removes detention and placement as consequences. Accountability.)
7172 This bill provides that a juvenile who is arrested pursuant to the execution of warrant issued in juvenile delinquency cases be brought directly to the Family Court and if the Family Courts is closed, to the most accessible Magistrate. AYE
7173 This bill would allow the family courts, after an entry of a fact-finding order but prior to entry of a dispositional order, to order that the proceeding be adjourned in contemplation of dismissal (ACD). The Order may be granted by the court after the petitioner, respondent and attorney for the child have a right to be heard with respect the motion. However, the court may grant the motion without requiring the consent of the petitioner or the attorney for the child. NAY (Changes proof standards inappropriately.)
7187 Makes an appropriation to pay to Kathleen A. Hope, Troy C. Hightower and Troy E. Sizer, the children of the late David F. Gantt, member of the Assembly, the balance due of his unpaid annual compensation for a portion of the year 2020. AYE
600 Requires the state board of elections to develop a program to be administered by all boards of elections to notify voters of certain information where their area has been redistricted. AYE
737A Requires debt collectors to inform debtors in each initial communication that written communications are available in large print format. NAY (Unnecessary and costly.)
924 Requires law enforcement agencies and district attorney's offices to advise human trafficking victims of the availability of social and legal services; unless law enforcement agencies and district attorney's offices are notified by the victim that they do not want such services, such law enforcement agency shall contact the appropriate provider and request that a representative be provided. AYE
979A GAUGHRAN Requires real estate brokers to receive two hours of training in cultural competency. AYE
1603 Enacts the "NYCHA utility accountability act"; requires the NYCHA to provide a rent reduction to tenants who experience a disruption in utility service. AYE
2025 Permits certain registered pharmacy technicians assisting in home infusion services through a home care agency to assist a licensed pharmacist in preparing prescriptions. AYE
2045 This bill would amend section 700 of the county law, to authorize Hamilton County, through its board of supervisors, to designate the office of district attorney, as a full time position. AYE
2630 Provides a certificate of relief from disabilities, or a certificate of good conduct if applicable, to persons granted merit termination of sentence automatically; also provides as such to persons granted a discretionary 3-year discharge from community supervision. Under current law, a person must wait until 3 years or 5 years after release from incarceration before being allowed to apply for a certificate. NAY (Defeats the intent of such certificates.)
2743 Authorizes the issuance of a temporary retail permit by the state liquor authority to licensees located in a municipality having a population of one million or more persons. AYE
2757B Adds cargo bicycles with electric assist to the types of bicycles with electric assist regulated under the vehicle and traffic law; provides that no person shall operate a cargo bicycle with electric assist unless it is accompanied by proof of financial security unless otherwise authorized by local law, ordinance, order, rule, or regulation or pursuant to an agreement made on behalf of the city, town, or village. AYE
2999B This bill amends the Executive Law to provide that the state disaster preparedness commission may directly monitor and record the off-site presence of radioactive material in the vicinity of any decommissioned facilities, facilities in the process of being decommissioned, or those decommissioned nuclear electric generating facilities being used for spent fuel nuclear storage located in New York. AYE
3080A Directs the New York state energy and development authority to establish a ride clean rebate program for electric assist bicycles and electric scooters. AYE
3152A The bill would amend Agricultural and Markets Law to require the Department to create the Community Gardens Task Force and for them to issue a report. AYE

3764 This bill requires anyone selling or offering weight loss services or weight loss products to provide consumers with a weight loss and dieting information notice. The notice shall include the dangers of rapid weight loss, dieting information, and risks associated with certain medications used with weight loss programs. NAY (More regulation.)
3789 Authorizes the public service commission to require water-works corporations to provide certain residents with non-billing related information. AYE
4060 The bill requires contractors and subcontractors to disclose in writing the existence of property and/or casualty insurance along with the contact information of the insurance company before doing any work on the property. AYE
4347A Provides for the licensure of school psychologists; authorizes the use of the title "school psychologist" to licensed or exempt individuals; defines practice of school psychology; sets forth requirements for professional licensure (including educational attainment, experience, exam and fee); provides for issuance of limited permits under specified circumstances; identifies exempt persons. AYE
4367A This bill would clarify that public's ability to observe public bodies' meetings must take place in a public place. AYE
4432 This bill would amend section 467 of the Real Property Tax Law to clarify that for the purpose of applications for the New York Senior Citizen Program Exemption, the "income tax year" is defined as the twelve-month period for which the owner or owners filed an income tax return for the tax year immediately preceding the application. AYE
4467B This bill amends the domestic relations law and the family court act to allow a parent to petition the court for the continuation of child support for an individual over the age of 21, up to age 26, if such child is: 1. developmentally disabled; 2. resides with the person seeking support; and 3. is principally dependent on such person for maintenance. AYE
4486A The bill makes a number of clarifying provisions to the operations of the Office of the Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG). AYE
4539 This bill would prohibit municipal officers or employees from displaying political advertisements within a public building, flag, pole, monument, sign or any other permanent structure, or within any municipal-owned vehicle. NAY (Already prohibited. Overly broad constitutional concerns.)
4849A Increases penalties for purposefully obstructed license plates to no less than fifty nor more than three hundred dollars. AYE
5257C Enacts the "Housing Our Neighbors with Dignity act" in order to provide a mechanism for the state to finance the acquisition of distressed hotels and commercial office properties by the appropriate nonprofit organizations for the purpose of maintaining or increasing affordable housing. NAY (This bill would remove properties from commercial tax rolls without replacing that lost revenue.)
5488A Establishes the Marshall plan for moms interagency task force to examine, issue proposals and make recommendations on multiple policy areas to address the disproportionate burden mothers have weathered from the economic fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic. NAY (Not necessary. No minority appointments.)
5527 This bill would establish the South Nassau water authority which would be a counterpart to the North Shore Water Authority provided pursuant to S.989. AYE
5722 Prohibits drugs from being dispensed unless a licensed pharmacist has verified that: the package contains the drug to be dispensed, whether the drug is packaged in a child-resistant container, whether a stock container is open and the quantity of the drug to be dispensed. AYE
5750 Authorizes the district superintendent of the EastportSouth Manor central school district to adjust certain improper apportionments of school tax levy which occurred in the 2019-2020 tax year over the next two tax years (2020-2021 and 2021-2022) and validating certain acts by the Eastport-South Manor Central School District in connection with adjustment of the improper apportionment of the school tax levy in 2019- 2020. AYE
5988B Provides for distinctive license plates for members of the Seabee Veterans of America. AYE

6234 Permits a member of the armed forces and any dependent of such person 16 years of age or older who has a license from another state, territory, federal district or foreign country to operate or drive a motor vehicle or motorcycle on the public highways of this state without being licensed in NYS. 6323 This bill would expand the list of investments that county governments are authorized to hold. AYE
6441 This bill would amend the Public Authorities law section 3053 related to the Municipal Assistance Corporation for the City of Troy to provide for the termination of such pursuant to a resolution of the Board. AYE
6516A Creates the calculation by which to determine yearly tuition and regional rate reimbursement for approved school-age and preschool special education programs. AYE
6537 This bill would require a transfer of a pension reserves if a member has completed ten or more year of credited service from one public retirement system to any other public retirement system. AYE
6542 Directs the commissioner of health to review the rates of reimbursement made through the Medicaid program for ambulette transportation for rate adequacy and to report such findings to the legislature. AYE
6555A This bill would exempt residential and mixed-use real property constructed on or after July 1, 2021 in the city of Troy from city, county and school taxes. Qualifying properties would get property tax exemptions for the increase in assessed value attributable to the construction. AYE
6654B Authorizes building inspectors, fire inspectors and code enforcement officers of the village of Buchanan, county of Westchester to live within Westchester county or an adjoining county. AYE
6664 Establishes a state-level program of all-inclusive care for the elderly for persons 55 years of age or older, qualifying for nursing home levels of care who wish to remain in their community; makes a technical correction to the social services law. AYE

6777 This bill relates to providing Census-related translation services for languages that are currently not provided by the Census Bureau. 6815 Encourages the elimination of the use of certain single use plastic items at state university of New York and city university of New York campuses. AYE
6822 Grants Kevin Moriarty Tier IV status in the New York state teachers' retirement system. AYE
6850A Authorizes the commissioner of agriculture and markets, in consultation with the commissioner of environmental conservation, to adopt rules and regulations setting forth standards relating to alternative fuel quality; authorizes the commissioner of agriculture and markets to inspect, test and take samples of alternative fuel kept, offered or exposed for sale or in the process of delivery or transport; defines the term "alternative fuel" means alcohols such as ethanol, methanol, butanol and non-petroleum liquid or gaseous fuels, other than alcohol, derived from biological materials; makes related provisions. AYE
6875 Requires each social services district to maintain a waiting list of eligible families who have applied for child care assistance; further requires the local districts to report such list to the office of children and family services who shall then compile such reports and issue one report to the legislature annually; further requires the social services districts to collect data regarding the income of families who have applied, were denied and received child care assistance and issue a report to the office of children and family services who shall then compile such reports and issue one report to the legislature annually. 6877 Excludes certain seasonal use tenancies from the provisions regulating deposits and advances for residential dwelling units; defines a seasonal use lease expressly provides that: the dwelling unit is registered as a seasonal use dwelling unit, indicating the local or county government agency with which it is registered; the occupancy of the tenant is only for seasonal use not to exceed one hundred twenty days or a shorter period provided for in the lease; and such tenant has a primary residence to return to, the address of which is expressly provided in the lease; makes related provisions. 6962 This bill would amend section 19-0301 of Environmental Conservation Law to add into the duty and responsibility of DEC to educate the public about the health and environmental impacts of idling vehicles. AYE
7075 Requires insurers to provide insureds or subscribers with an explanation of pharmaceutical benefits relating to claims under certain accident and health insurance policies. NAY (Unnecessary and costly.)
7083A This bill would authorize the Town of Rotterdam in Schenectady County to add a third village justice to handle court proceedings in the Rotterdam Town Court. AYE
7106A At Req. Of: Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs (Departmental) Requires certain entities to check the justice center's register of substantiated category one cases of abuse or neglect. AYE

7150 This bill amends the legislative law to provide that if independent redistricting commission (IRC) does not vote on any redistricting plan or plans, the commission shall submit to the legislature all plans in its possession, both completed and in draft form, and the data upon which such plans are based. NAY (Political with no benefit.)
7163 Authorizes the West Babylon Church of God of Prophecy, Inc. to file an application for retroactive real property tax exemption with the assessor of the town of Babylon, county of Suffolk, with respect to the 2018- 2019 assessment rolls. AYE
7179 This bill would authorize a former foster care youth to file a motion and be placed into foster care in a supervised setting, placement in a foster family home which would include a kinship placement, or placement with fictive kin. NAY (No funding.)
7190 Amends the approval process for projects of the Nassau county industrial development agency in the village of Hempstead; provides that the IDA adopt guidelines, approved by the governing body of the village with respect to approval of projects within Hempstead. AYE
7191 Provides that write-in votes in a primary resulting from the filing of an opportunity to ballot petition will only count if the write-in candidate is enrolled in the party holding such primary. NAY
7197 This bill would extend the effectiveness of certain provisions of the arts and cultural entertainment law relating to tickets to places of entertainment through June 30, 2022. AYE
577 This bill would require the Child Health Plus program to cover ostomy supplies. AYE
1834A Prohibits retail dealers of second hand motor vehicles from selling a motor vehicle which is subject to federal motor vehicle safety standards for inflatable restraint systems unless such vehicle is equipped with an inflatable restraint system which conforms to the federal motor vehicle safety standard applicable to that vehicle and a readiness indicator light indicating a functioning inflatable restraint system. NAY (Would place a burden on retail dealers.)
4441 Provides an optional death benefit for correction officers employed by Suffolk county; allows the beneficiary to elect a lump sum amount which shall be equal to the pension reserve that would have been established had the member retired on the date of his or her death, or the value of the death benefit and the reserve-forincreased-take-home-pay, whichever is greater. AYE
4554 This bill would establish new discovery provisions applicable to juvenile delinquency proceedings in family court with regard to the timing of discovery, disclosure prior to certain guilty pleas, DNA evidence, court orders, and the admissibility of discovery. NAY (Cost of implementation is unclear and no designated funding has been identified.)
5246A This bill would require non-depository lenders, specifically, licensed mortgage bankers, to participate in the community reinvestment act. Non-depository lenders/institution provide financial services, but do not accept deposits. These institutions include finance companies, insurance companies, brokerage firms, and pensions funds. NAY (CRA requirements that were designed for banking institutions are not the appropriate fit for independent mortgage bankers.)
5325 Requires utility corporations, municipalities, waterworks corporations, and telephone service providers to allow customers to use their preferred name and pronouns. NAY
5489 Permits an unregistered, nonresident pharmacy to ship, mail, or deliver prescription drugs or devices to registered NY pharmacies in cases of a specific patient need or declared public emergency. AYE
6289A Requires all contracts with private food service management companies to disclose ingredient lists and nutritional information for all the meals they provide school districts; requires such school districts to publish such ingredient lists and nutritional information on their district's website. AYE
6431 Extends for one year certain exemptions from professional licensure requirements for persons employed as mental health practitioners, psychologists and social workers in a program or service operated, regulated, funded, or approved by the department of mental hygiene, the office of children and family services, or a local governmental unit or social services district. AYE (Licensure exemption necessary in order to develop the means to increase the number of diagnosing clinical mental health professionals necessary for agencies' ability to meet increasing demand for services.)
6497A This bill would call for the Public Service Commission to establish a program to "attract private sector investment in a minimum of one gigawatt of installed capacity of zero emissions energy systems." The Commission must establish the program no later than two years after the effective date, and systems must be technically feasible (online) by the year 2030. AYE
6590A Authorizes the Flanders, Riverside and Northampton Community Association, Inc. to file an application for a partial exemption from real property taxes for the 2019- 2020 assessment roll. AYE
6600A Relates to SUNY admission requirements for graduatelevel teacher and educational leader programs; removes the requirement for a minimum score on the graduate record examination or similar examination. AYE
6690 Eliminates the requirement that a paraprofessional join the New York City Teachers' Retirement System. AYE
6922 Authorizes the state of New York bond bank agency to provide municipal relief to the city of Albany of a sum not to exceed one million two hundred thousand dollars. AYE

7011 Requires law enforcement and other agencies to provide the information necessary for the Office of Victim Services (OVS) to investigate a claim. Also provides that in the event there are inconsistent reports among two or more criminal justice agencies, OVS shall consider the totality of the circumstances. AYE
7015 The bill adds Video Lottery Gaming facilities to the definitions of Authorized gaming establishment and unlawful gaming property in section 225.00 of the Penal Law. AYE
7082 Updates certain references with respect to the Troy Industrial Development Authority; eliminates an automatic corporate termination clause when all bonds have been repaid; allows the Troy Industrial Development Authority to deposit and manage its own funds and accounts; adds certain retail restrictions; makes certain technical corrections. 7110A Authorizes the Town of Oyster Bay to grant Nori Foundation d/b/a Sai Mandir USA a real property tax exemption with respect to the 2019-2020 assessment roll. AYE
7121 Defines the term "first responder in communications"; requires, to the extent practicable, that employers of such first responders provide training. The bill would require, to the extent practicable, employers of a First Responder in Communications to provide training to maintain and enhance the knowledge, skills and proficiency of such individual. AYE
7125 Amends the county law by adding a new section 226c to authorize the Westchester County Legislature to waive fees associated with capital improvements to any post or hall owned by a not-for-profit congressionally chartered veterans' organization located in such county. AYE
7129 Creates the temporary "commission to prevent childhood drowning" to evaluate and develop programs to properly educate and instruct children how to swim and water safety. AYE
7152 Amends the definition of a "disguised gun" to include a weapon or device capable of being concealed on a person from which a shot can be discharged through the energy of an explosive which is designed and intended to appear to be a toy gun. NAY (Does not have a grandfather clause so current owners of these guns would become felons after the effective date of November 1st.)
7154 Authorizes Gina Kehoe to take the competitive civil service examination and be placed on the eligible civil service list for employment as a full-time police officer for the town of Montgomery police department, notwithstanding the maximum age requirements for such examination. AYE
7167 Provides a heart disease presumption for a fire marshal, supervising fire marshal, division supervising fire marshal, assistant chief fire marshal, chief fire marshal or fire marshal trainee employed by Nassau county. AYE
7169 Authorizes the town of Orangetown to offer a certain retirement option to Orangetown police officers Patrick J. Casey, Elizabeth M. Muckell and Keith E. Trojan. AYE
7175 This bill would provide for the appeal and review of certain real property tax exemption application in Suffolk County. AYE
