“Now more than ever, we need strong consumer advocates in government to help New Yorkers endure the financial hardships brought on by this pandemic. I commend Governor Kathy Hochul for her commitment to protecting consumers, cutting taxes, and taking on the student loan crisis in today’s State of the State address. Fighting for consumers, student loan borrowers, and overtaxed Long Islanders has always been my top priority. I look forward to working with Governor Hochul and my colleagues in the legislature to accomplish these goals and secure a better future for all New Yorkers.”
